I hope you and your loved ones are safe in this very worrying time.

Despite the extremely restrictive reality in which we are now working, HaMoked answers calls every day from Palestinians who face new restrictions due to the Israeli government's COVID-19 response, in addition to the usual injustices of occupation. In the past few weeks, we've advocated for the rights of the most vulnerable groups, including Palestinians in Israeli prisons with no contact with the outside world; families living in East Jerusalem without residency status; and those who live in the East Jerusalem neighborhoods behind the Separation Wall.

In addition, HaMoked’s Arabic Facebook page serves as a key source of information for members of the Palestinian public. We are now posting daily updates on Israel's COVID-19 response and its implications for Palestinians. In just one example, a recent post provided information on how to receive assistance in Arabic with filling out the forms in order to be granted unemployment benefits during the crisis.
